Ambi­tion

We want a Euro­pean media ecosys­tem that cre­ates an engaged soci­ety in which the weak feel safe, that trusts in argu­ments, insights and respon­si­bil­i­ty and that’s immune against dis­in­for­ma­tion. This chal­lenge keeps increas­ing, as the prob­lem of news deserts in Ger­many and Europe is on the rise.

Solu­tion

With beabee we work towards our vision by equip­ping the next wave of pub­lic-inter­est peo­ple-pow­ered media in Europe (esp. local media) with the tools to build engaged com­mu­ni­ties every­where and sus­tain them­selves finan­cial­ly. We give them: 1) a head-start with a shared tech stack (CRM, Crowd­snews­room, Pay­ment, Sur­veys. Future Fea­tures: Newslet­ter, CMS, Mes­sen­ger, Events) and the trans­fer of strate­gies for suc­cess­ful com­mu­ni­ty engage­ment 2) dig­i­tal sov­er­eign­ty from the get-go.
