Sebas­t­ian is Head of Phi­neo Star­tups. He has built the impact start­up incu­ba­tor and accel­er­a­tor from the ground up as a new divi­sion of PHINEO gAG. Dri­ven by the notion that the world’s crises are inter­con­nect­ed and his belief in the inno­v­a­tive pow­er of impact entre­pre­neurs to solve those crises, he seeks to move the busi­ness world towards doing mea­sur­able good rather than just min­i­miz­ing harm. Pre­vi­ous­ly, he co-found­ed an inno­va­tion con­sult­ing firm with offices in Berlin and Munich to help orga­ni­za­tions on the path to sus­tain­able trans­for­ma­tion by devel­op­ing new busi­ness mod­els and start­up pro­grams. Before he worked at a com­pa­ny builder and dig­i­tal con­sul­tan­cy as a team lead to sup­port orga­ni­za­tions to devel­op dig­i­tal solu­tions and set-up inno­va­tion units. He stud­ied Strate­gic Man­age­ment at Dublin Insti­tute of Tech­nol­o­gy, Design Think­ing at Has­so Plat­tner Insti­tute and on cli­mate change at Cam­bridge Insti­tute for Sus­tain­abil­i­ty Lead­er­ship.
