My edu­ca­tion­al back­ground includes a degree in Struc­tur­al Engi­neer­ing, a PhD in Com­pu­ta­tion­al Mechan­ics, and a PhD focused on devel­op­ing diag­nos­tic devices. I’ve also accu­mu­lat­ed valu­able expe­ri­ence in the start­up sphere, suc­cess­ful­ly bring­ing detec­tion devices to mar­ket. Through­out my career, I have led and man­aged mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary teams, resources in both aca­d­e­m­ic and indus­tri­al set­tings, ensur­ing effi­cient coor­di­na­tion from both a tech­ni­cal and oper­a­tional stand­point. Grow­ing up in Gali­cia, Spain, I wit­nessed the sig­nif­i­cant impact of annu­al wild­fires on the envi­ron­ment and com­mu­ni­ties. This has moti­vat­ed my col­lab­o­ra­tion with Lara and Raul in ideat­ing a viable solu­tion to com­bat this press­ing issue.
