Antje is a sci­en­tist, turned entre­pre­neur. After com­plet­ing her PhD and a research stint at Tech­nis­che Uni­ver­sität Berlin and the Uni­ver­si­ty of Syd­ney, she found­ed a tech start up togeth­er with two col­leagues from uni­ver­si­ty. As a founder Antje was respon­si­ble for fundrais­ing, finance, busi­ness devel­op­ment and busi­ness oper­a­tions. When the start­up was acquired by the indus­try leader in the field, Antje decid­ed to re-join the start-up scene after a short inte­gra­tion phase. An entre­pre­neur at heart, she now pass­es on her knowl­edge and expe­ri­ence as a con­sul­tant, men­tor and mod­er­a­tor. Her exper­tise cen­ters around the tran­si­tion from sci­en­tist to entre­pre­neur in terms of mind- and skillset. Antje is par­tic­u­lar­ly focused on how founders with­out a back­ground in busi­ness can feel con­fi­dent in their role as man­ag­ing direc­tors, have their finances in check and approach cus­tomers. She is also spe­cial­ized in fundrais­ing strate­gies, with a par­tic­u­lar eye on grant and loan appli­ca­tions.
