Impact Collective:
Responsible Finance
With global debt reaching a record $305 trillion in 2022 and the wealth gap widening, effective financial strategies are essential to ensure equitable resource distribution and sustainable development. A responsible financial system is crucial to tackling the polycrisis, a convergence of multiple global challenges like climate change, inequality, and economic instability. By aligning investments with social and environmental goals, we can create resilience against these interconnected crises and promote long-term global stability.
In our collective, we bring together FinTech startups, research institutes, businesses, and state actors to foster innovation and collaboration. Our collective on responsible finance includes 8 sub-themes.
Our goal is to transform the way the global finance system works by pioneering a responsible finance revolution. Our collective aims to:
- Accelerate the adoption of sustainable practices
- Foster collaborative innovation
- Influence policy and corporate strategy
- Empower communities and industries
