Ambi­tion

The egg-pro­cess­ing indus­try caus­es 12.000 tons of tox­ic resid­ual mate­r­i­al per day that often ends up in natures and harms peo­ple and the envi­ron­ment. With our approach, we can upcy­cle the residues and trans­form them into stan­dard­ized resources for the indus­try. Addi­tion­al­ly we can make use of the mem­brane and trans­form it into an excit­ing and potent tech­ni­cal bio­plas­tic.

Solu­tion

A (Sep­a­ra­tion plant): The sep­a­ra­tion by type and the hygien­i­sa­tion con­tained there­in enable the con­ver­sion into stan­dard­ised resources. The chem­i­cal-free process and the very low ener­gy require­ment are two fur­ther fea­tures that enable this idea to be scaled up. B (Bio­genic lime­stone): Our bio­genic lime­stone is very homo­ge­neous com­pared to con­ven­tion­al lime­stone and has an extreme­ly high per­cent­age of cal­ci­um car­bon­ate (95% com­pared to 60–95%). It also has min­i­mal CO₂ emis­sions. C (DNA Token): Pro­tegg is the first com­pa­ny to suc­ceed in func­tion­al­ly inte­grat­ing syn­thet­ic DNA with defined infor­ma­tion into a mate­r­i­al. This allows us to guar­an­tee 100% ver­i­fi­ca­tion and longevi­ty of pro­tec­tion of the assigned goods (500+ years)
