After study­ing eco­nom­ics & law in Ger­many & Fin­land and valu­able expe­ri­ence in con­sult­ing, tech start-ups and cor­po­rate inno­va­tion, I was not con­vinced by the way busi­ness was done. I looked for a more holis­tic approach to solve glob­al chal­lenges. Thus, I spe­cial­ized in social entre­pre­neur­ship and sus­tain­able finance dur­ing my master’s in Por­tu­gal and worked as a pro bono con­sul­tant for NGOs and social start-ups help­ing them to cre­ate an impact. Addi­tion­al­ly, I found­ed my own com­pa­ny to bring ESG cri­te­ria into ear­ly-stage tech-dri­ven star­tups. After that, I joined Unternehmer­TUM & the impact accel­er­a­tor RESPOND for two years and was main­ly respon­si­ble for eval­u­a­tion of start­up mod­els, port­fo­lio sup­port and lead the oper­a­tions. Chang­ing per­spec­tives again, I’m cur­rent­ly part of the invest­ment team at bet­ter ven­tures, most­ly look­ing into star­tups in Food & Ag Tech and Respon­si­ble Con­sump­tion. Thus, I can hap­pi­ly sup­port with fundrais­ing know-how and problem/market under­stand­ing.
